Last night we ventured to the North side to see this house we've heard so much about. Wow, it was so worth the drive. We were driving on 97th and Jeff kept saying, where is it, there aren't many houses on 97th. Then from about 2 blocks before the house, Jeff said, oh, there it is. The amount of work this man has put into his house is unreal. He has every window in his house full of something, even the basement windows. What a sight to see. Santa was there giving out candy canes; and soooo cheerful. All of the news crews were there interviewing the home owner (we walked by the camera a few times so we may be on global). Tyson was right behind the little girl being interviewed on CFRN. It was such a sight. Carter was so amazed with all of the lights too. After the house tour we went to Timmies for some hot chocolate and then headed home.
Carter's two top teeth are just about through (it's been a rough few nights), poor guy, I can only imagine how painful it would be. He is also trying to move around so much. He'll scoot on his bum and go from sitting to his tummy and then try to pull himself.
This week is probably going to be pretty busy. We are starting our shopping this week (we've left it for so long), hosting a gingerbread party on Thursday, Candy Cane lane at some point and Jeff still is starting work at 3am. (I can't wait until that shift is over).
Enjoy the pictures! (If you want to see any of them closer, just click on the picture. The pic of the bars with the scene behind it, that was a basement window; I couldn't believe he even did the basement windows!).
